MapleStory not opening.

Hi, if anyone could please help me out with my problem, it would be greatly appreciated.

I open up MapleStory using the GameLauncher, and the screen turns dark, a dark blue screen, which is usually what happens when I play MapleStory. But then a pitch black screen shows up, and it sends me back to my desktop a few seconds later. It didn't show any error codes, or anything.
I open up the Windows Task Manager, and it shows MapleStory running in the processes, but it's not even open.

- I've already tried reinstalling, redownloading, etc.
- Happened ever since the Dual Blade patch. (I keep having to ask my bro to play MapleStory, and it's getting quite annoying.)
