Well something just as a starter and easy and cheap, is to mine wisdom/luk/lidium and sell the ores or crystals. Mainly what I do though is hunt for gear to fuse. I did this originally for myself so I wouldn't have to buy % stuff, but then over time I started getting wrong class/% equips, so I sold them. Its slow, but works.
Oh, and TS, pretty much see what other merchers are doing now. I see lots of rings lately. Another option is to invest in some chaos scrolls and try to make some sick empress gear. Also try to find cheap ws/pinks since they are more important again.
do you go through all the FMs daily?
if yes - make that twice daily
if no - make it a habit to FM hop

Anyway, just look at the FM. Pay attention to prices --> Go through later and try to find cheap items. Sell for high.
Or you could craft to get some capital.
