I need help with potentialing!

I recently potentialed my bathrobe and it got a lame potential. I kept cubing it but the potentials don't get any better. I've been using the advanced magnify glass. Is there a recommended magnify glass to use specially on a lvl 20 bathrobe? I really want a good potentialed bathrobe.
