But we know nothing about the co-existence of bow and dual bowgun,
Which came first? Ishtar's Ring or Hurricane?
Not by order of updates, but my relevance in maple history
I'm just going to assume every other knock-off hurricane skill came later

Mercedes tells Athena about bows in the storyline, therefore, there must have been bows before Athena was born [She was a child when she left Eullel]
There is always the possibility that Dualbowguns and Bows were invented before Mercedes AND Athena existed

I don't believe the storyline ever really specifies.
according to Nexon logic, let's just say Mercedes and Athena were in the library about to simultaneously have epiphany about how to fire 8 arrows a second from their weapons, but Mercedes was interrupted by some asians on the phone and therefore battleship cannon came first.
