If you have anything that is on your mind, and don't feel comfortable sharing them with anyone that is close to you, or if you feel it is easier talking about your problems to complete strangers, then go ahead and share them here!

I, along with any other basilers that would also like to help out if they want, will try our very best to help you out and/or give you advice on any situation that you may be facing that you, yourself, may not how to deal with.

There was also an old thread like this long ago by @PookyMooky but that thread has been locked, so I figured I'd try to start another one.

Any nice ways to save cash?

Like to cut down on expenses?[/quote]

Simple ways to cut down on expenses are:

1. Time your showers, that way, by taking shorter showers, you will easily lower your utility bills.

2. If you do not have a need for television, cut your cable cord, and you can simply just exchange it for something like Netflix, Hulu, or an HD antenna. Watch everything online instead.

3. If you happen to work and land a raise, get a bonus, or work overtime, put your excess cash directly into a savings account if you have one.

4. During winter, turn down the heat and wear a sweater. In summer, cut down on using the air-conditioner if you have and switch to using a fan or a de-humidifier.

5. Cut the coffee. If you're the type of person who goes on a coffee run and buys coffee every day, forget about that. Switch from cappuccino to a standard brew, or brew your own tea at home before you go anywhere, that way you can fill in a thermostat water bottle if you have one, and you can reuse that bottle without having to buy a water bottle every single time.

6. Buy second-hand. Look for clearance sales when shopping. If you want to buy something pricey, think it over - Do you really need that or are you just buying it out of an enjoyment?

7. Stop snacking and do not go to eat at expensive places. Learn to cook for yourself, and if you don't know how, there are simple easy recipes you can look up online. Eat fuller meals during lunch and dinner and avoid the snacks. Just cut down eating out to maybe like, two times per week, then for every other meal, cook it yourself. You won't realize how much you'll be lowering your food bill.

8. Replace your light bulbs. Using energy-efficient light bulbs will cut down on your utility bills.

9. Do not drink if you're legal and do drink. Alcohol is expensive. Cutting down the amount you drink is going to have a big impact on your budget. Save drinking for only special occasions, especially if you're the type to go out drinking with your friends every night or week.

10. If you have a car but you really do not need one, think of switching to walking, biking, or taking the bus. If you do need the car, reduce the amount of times you drive it. If you need to go somewhere that's extremely close by your home, consider walking or biking there instead. It may be time consuming, but it'll save a lot of your gas.

These are just some ways you could cut down on expenses. Though, there are certainly a lot more other ways, i'm just not sure exactly what you have/do that I could also suggest that would help you save money, so this is just a basic outline of things to help. Feel free to DM me if you need help on anything else regarding that matter.

I have a lot of anxiety about going back to college. I've tried it once and I lasted 3 months, spent thousands doing so because it was a private college. Now I'm in debt around $30k with nothing to show for it. At least I'm indebted to my husband, who paid for the college for me, so no interest, but I still have to go back to school where I'll actually have to take out loans. I'm looking at 6 years of college total (including community college -- high school gpa was not good) while balancing being a wife and mother. I don't regret having a child because it had been all I wanted for years but it's going to make things a lot more difficult. I don't really have the option to not go to college though.

I wish you the best.

OT: stressing and waiting for an anwser from my job interview last friday. The interview went okay and she would contact me this week, but hell, ever since that day I am constantly watching my mailbox to see if there's any mail from the manager.
