Looking at this video, I think you do have to cast it 5 times to stack. But it doesn't look like theres an animation delay, kinda like activating pickpocket. :s

I think it was a passive buff. I was watching some people activate it, and I don't remember it delaying their skills

I really want this because it would be such a pain in the rear to have to re-cast every time you land a crit because it forces you to stop attacking, even if briefly.

I haven't really noticed an increase in Shadowers. Interesting, all previous Shadwagons ended up... hardly being Shadwagons at all. It's probably the Hyperskills that have them interested.

Oh right, that is true. I just can't hit max with boomerang step yet so it is still my strongest skill for leveling at lhc or hoh even with the delay... I am jealous of the shadowers who hit max with midnight carnival

Actually bstep gets 20% damage from hyper, so its 3(730%) + 3(730x.7) from shadow partner, making it 3723% per cast. Then again we have to take delay into account as well, it isn't really spammable with that short delay.

There is no such thing as a cool down on Flip The Coin, [b]BUT[/b] Flip The Coin can only be used when you hit a critical. Thus, You attack (get a crit) activate FTC. Attack again (Not crit). Attack again (get a crit) Use FTC again. Wash and Repeat until you get FTC stacked 5 times and voila, you get a buff that was supposed to be really OP (Stacked 20 times) and got rebalanced to 5 times.

@Chubsin: The complaining over BoT and assaulter will never end.

I don't think there is, I guess the fact that you have to activate the skill each time you hit a crit to stack the skill is the only downside?

Is there really a need to be that dramatic? I understand how that feels, having both a Shadower and a Night Lord myself. There's no need to post a useless comment on somebody's thread though.

Hyper skills for shadowers are pretty godly. Boomerang Step already hits for 710% x 2 for 1420%; combine that with shadow partner and you have over a skill that hits for over 2,400% damage on mobs as of now. As Doomfinger mentioned, boomerang step will get a 3rd hit, raising the damage per attack to over 3,600%. And Flip the Coin is also an excellent damage booster; you can easily youtube some videos of shadower hyper skills if you are interested.

There are some minor changes when the hyper skills come:
Shadower: Muspelheim - number of monsters hit has been increased from 4 to 8
Shadower: Meso Explosion - range has been increased
Shadower: Shadow Instinct - duration has been increased from 60 seconds to 120 seconds
Shadower: Assassinate - critical chance has been adjusted

Unless we get BoT or assaulter back, no one cares.

Flip the coin skill gives damage and crit %, forgot how much though. And B-step gets a 3rd line

ahhh i see. I read over the notes and the only one i found is that our hyper skill- Assassinate's dmg cap has been raised. Is that all? LOL

Maplestory Unlimited. It's a patch already in KMS. Probably coming to GMS in summer.
A few attacks get stronger. That's basically it... I don't get why your friends are so excited.
