Why the hell are Cygnus Knights even getting a revamp in the first place? Just leave them alone and let them do their main job; being a Blessing mule. However, I do like the fact that they don't need any mastery books for 4th job...
Why the hell did Explorers even get a revamp in the first place? They should have just left them alone and let them do their main job; being crap. I do like the fact they have decent party buffs.
You're saying that Explorers are crap now, which is true. The reason its true is because of all the new classes that Nexon releases, which are basically all OP. Remember that before these classes came out, Explorers ruled. Cygnus Knights have always been Blessing mules since the start (or used to create UA's). Point irrelevant.
Actually, they were more of a teaser class for Explorers, which is why they have such high stat gain and easy leveling, but were capped at 120.
Since you can basically sneeze and get to 120 now (Which is more like 100 anyway, for 4th job), they've lost all their use except for UA/Blessing mules, which is why the revamp is coming so that they become full-fledged classes now.
Just be aware that when they were made, it wasn't with the intention of becoming mules, so keep a lid on the Cygnus hate.
I don't know, it's a lot better than what I thought they were gonna do. Honestly, the only disappointing Cygnus revamp so far, is Wind Archer. With how well they did Dawn Warrior, I imagine they couldn't mess up on Night Walkers or Blaze Wizards. Mostly hype for Blaze Wizards though, I hope it's finally a mage that can compete for the highest dps among other classes.

what are you talking about?
evans and battle mages are in the top 10 chart of dps...
@SombraManx: Yeah, my bad. Battle Mages I knew about, I wasn't aware that Evans were topping the charts after Unlimited? That's just my ignorance, so my bad. Otherwise, to be honest, Battle Mages seem very similar to a melee class to me, so when I say Mage, I mean a character similar to I/L or F/P.
Anyways, getting way off topic. My point was really just that the other playable mages so far, are bleh. I'll concede that two of them are actually top damage dealers, but the others seem to miss the mark. It's not like they do TERRIBLE damage, but it's not exactly what I'd consider 'on par'. And other than that, it feels like they haven't successfully made a balls to the wall, "We have to nerf this class a month after release" mage. I want the new Blaze Wizard to be close enough to that, but to where it doesn't need nerfed. I guess it's sort of hard for me to explain, but I don't really feel as if any of the current mages are broken powerful or crazy interesting. Kaiser, Xenon, Dawn Warrior, Wind Archer, pre nerf Angelic Buster, etc etc are examples of what I mean.
Slight problem too, is that you get these new classes that come out, and they've got these crazy unique systems. You've got Aran with his combos, Phantom with his card and steal skill system, Luminous with the Equilibrium system, and the list goes on. Warriors have the majority of these classes, while thieves have 2 or 3, but Mages really lack that if you ask me. They need a strong, interesting system, casty-type mage among their ranks.
