Mage

Kanna vs Evan

I'm stumped between which of the two i wanna main.
I enjoy both of them to the same degree and also not too keen on the output damage.
Just wanted to get an insight of your perspective of both classes and the reasoning behind your choice of the two.

Thanks !

lol seems liek the polls are stuck in between Kanna and Evan, too. 11/22 votes for both, atm.

Anyway, Evan was always more of an easier attacker for me. It's not difficult to get some high damage output. It was easy to get around maps with Dragon Blink and the mobbing capabilities of an Evan. The one thing that killed it for me was the speed of the attacks after lv 120.... Lord, casting FW was soooooooo slow for some reason it made me so angry. Thought it would get better with Blaze but it was just as bad. It was a tad faster (I think FW was 1290 ms delay while Blaze was like 980 or so, can't remember to save my life) but both of them were sooo clunky.

TBH Kannas weren't that much different in terms of the clunkiness. The only reason I kept up with my Kanna was because it was an amazing bosser (not to say Evans weren't either, but Kannas were easier to handle for me, as well as having more utility), the fact that I could increase spawn and let my relatively overpowered range (I could never hit harder with another class) one shot everything on the map with Blackhearted Curse (lv 150 hyper). It literally took me under a minute to finish the daily kill 300 mob attendance quests and doing pickup/kill quests was such a joke with Kanna you'd think they'd ban it or something.

Anyway, my memories of playing as an Evan weren't too fond. The only fast attack it had was Illusion which is easily bested by Kanna's Vanquisher's Charm (with hypers) and Kannas just always had a place in my heart. Maybe not the top but it definitely sat above Evans. Plus, what's better than getting to lv 200 in 3 days? Get with guildies, Kishin, profit <3

@NinjaOfTennis: Definitely did! XD

Didn't know you were a basiler too

If/When Kanna finally gets her seed changes applied she'll be more of a 'support' class while still retaining what she has now. Honestly, I think she's a solid class.

I'm going to say Evan because the amount of time kanna is broken isn't fun to deal with. On the other hand, with a kanna you have a naturally high range which can make you happy when you look at your stats and increased drop rate, as well as everything else people generally associate with kannas.

You might as well just make both on two separate accounts cause people seem to like them equally and if they're on separate accounts, you can be on both at once and kishin swag

Hey @AusLiam , I have funded both Evan and Kanna and played both to a pretty far extent (both have reached 47f in the tower of oz, etc). With personal bias I would usually tell you to main Evan (because it's my main), but to be honest I've actually really enjoyed Kanna too. Both have a good balance of offensive power and utility. Evans are higher on the dps side, while Kannas are much better at support (I mean come on, two binds, boss barrier, status resistance, etc). The poll's tied at 9/9 right now and to be honest, these days I play both my Evan and my Kanna equally LOL. So although this probably won't help you make a decision at all, I'd say don't give up on either and play both. Maining either will make you quite unique because let's be honest, there aren't really any Evans around, as well as non-kishin mule kannas. As for things like gliding and teleport, Evan mechanics are far easier to learn, but Kanna's set location delayed teleport is extremely OP in it's own way once you learn how to use it. Good luck!

I mained an evan but personally, I despised it cause I easily got bored and tired of playing. Now I mained a xenon and I'm really enjoying maple a lot more. I don't recommend evans.

I despised kanna back when I used to mapl and made my link mule. I think evan was one of the only mages that I've made and enjoyed <3. That being said, evan by far.

If you want to level faster, Kanna.

Ive tried both and gotten both to 150+, and I have to say I enjoy both evenly. But if you want easy leveling and parties make a kanna, if you want more damage and a dope dragon, go evan

Evans 4 lyfe! Kanna will be easy to level but evans are one of the most unique and fun classes and have pretty good damage until u cappin cuz of lack of lines
