I don't think Explorers are hard at all.
They're just extremely boring up until fourth job. Seriously, it begins to become a nightmare level 50-120 just because of how boring pre-fourth job is for them.
Boring =/= Difficult

Edit: There is no difficult class on this game. Only tedious.

We also need to time our combos. If we do it too early or too late it won't work. In addition to that you have a crappy HP and resist% especially for a warrior. We're also not too mobile compared to all these flashy classes (besides explorer warriors).
Aran is hard at first but then it gets pretty easy. Any class is easy as long as you can properly control it.

OT: Hardest- nothing, but if I had to choose I'd say 3rd job anything @_@ hell levels for me
Easiest- Phantoms. They're mobile, they can steal skills to bosst their damage, they can steal HS for more exp.

You guys are arguing about how playing a beginner/aran/whatever takes a degree of skill.

Lemme be honest, this game takes no skill what so ever. You're just pressing buttons the entire time. You're not executing combos, you're not learning skillshots, you're just spamming pots and attacks and killing mobs.

Beginners are stupid. It's a waste of a life to level them up at all. I don't like to torture myself thanks. "But it feels like you achieved something" my ass. I would actually like to go on boss runs, pqs, and actually be accepted into parties kthnx.

Arans are not hard at all. How hard is it to press down + right + ctrl?

Classes that may not be easy to play, imo, is anything that has invincibility frames (bucc), but for the most part the entire game is easy.

old school Bandits who had no mob attack till 3rd job they had it rough, although assassins went through a similar hell i guess.

Easiest? any warrior class, they have high hp, get an AOE first job, and they hit a good amount early on with minimal funding due to naturally high atk on their weapons

Aran's are the hardest because it takes an amount of skill to maneuver them so their attacks are most efficient. Getting from one mob to another quickly, after all, we have a combo to keep up.
If you're a serious Aran, you probably know what I mean.

Arans are the hardest job, because they require the most button mashing and combo attacks
Easy jobs are any that just hold down a single button

I might be a bit biased, but I think Aran is the hardest since sometimes it is hard to do our combos. It is very hard to use rolling spin as it often goes the wrong direction. You have to be able to use your attacks without climbing up ladders or going into portals. And you need to continuosly attack to keep your good damage.

I am 100% aware of what the implications are. I do not understand what you mean, however. I have been a long term member of Southperry, am friends with most of the core members outside of Southperry, including the original owner of the site, and I get permission and give full credits whenever I use anything from their site, which isn't that often. I have more sources outside of Southperry that I get information from more often.

Rankings does not make them a class...

Gear, party support, abilities to make use of in-game content and all of that does. Sitting in a spot, leeching and chatting while whacking with your purple surfboard to do 100 damage does not make you a class.

Nexon America might treat them with recognition, but Nexon Korea does not. Nexon Korea did not create the beginner specific gear. They do not treat them as a real class.

They are not treated as jobs. They do not get useful attacking skills. They do not have party support. They serve no point whatsoever.

If Nexon were to make equipment for beginner-specific players for every 10 levels up to level 150, then sure, I'd say Nexon considers them an actual job. Until then, they do not consider them job classes. Only players who have beginners who think they're significant think they're job classes.

and every class has pros and cons,
there is no easiest or hardest.

before revamp, NL, because there was no mobbing skill except avenger. until 120

F/P's. You have to keep up your DoTs while going for maximum damage output.

IMO hero is a semi difficult job to control compared to most seeing as you have to stay up close and constantly take damage rather than standing in the background not getting hit

Because there's absolutely no point to Bishops other than to get to level 80 and spam HS for everyone, right?

No. People actually play the class and it's a lot more difficult than other classes - especially since not many grindable mobs are holy weak anymore (I don't know about GMS' case, but as far as general MapleStory goes, that's how it is).

Get them to the lvl when they have max hs first..Not to mention phantoms who took their hsing job

Easiest: anyone from cannonner and onward, i/l mages, evans, battle mages, bishops, dbs
Hardest: explorers warriors during 2nd job and most of 3rd job, arans, wild hunters,

before the latest revamps the weakest 2nd jobs in my opinion were:
1.Cleric
2.Brawler
3.Bandit

So..ill go with clerics (dont count leeching)

If we're going all-Maple

Easiest : Angelic Burster, if only Adventurers, I'd say Ice Mage? It's kind of hard to say. They're all shafted equally hard in comparison to everyone else (except Resistance, who are on equal footing, for the most part).
Hardest : Bishop

Beginner does not count, as it is not classified as an actual job/class. It's just a root pseudo-class for people to branch off to the real classes of the game.
