Why would you take off everything except your socks and shoes?
Remember the position of the person in the drawing will express something....not just a face will express something the body also do a big part, what are you trying to express with the draw will help you decide which way you wanna draw it.
Eyes showing looks way better to me. The one hiding his eyes looks so emo.
