Apply Bank account Online
I have a question about this...for those who know about applying/creating a bank acccount online, i.e Citibank website.
So I created an account, clicked the "apply now" icon. Student checking account, put all my info, phone, address, SS number, etc. Made a user ID and pass...I already have another username but it is linked to my parents account( which is why I wanted to apply one by myself)
I put 500$ for amount in account, 0$ was minimum. Well after it was done, I changed my mind..but it was too late to CANCEL it. I logged the user ID on the website for citi and it worked. The account was made...BUT it asked to agree terms/conditions. I didn't agree yet,since I want to cancel/close the "account" i applied for ONLINE>
Do they charge you to close the premature account, I did not physically transfer $ to the account at all. If I leave this alone,will it close eventually? They said they're going to mail a card to me...what do I do with it, I don't know what to do.
Edit: to the 2 smartass comments, I was just wondering if anybody ever applied for a bank acc online before..ofc i contacted them, they dont respond right away
