one more empress equip thread
I finally got everything I need to wear empress: 120 dex with all equips minus the first one to be unequipped, and after boosts it is 178. equipping empress brings it to 242. If I subtract the boosts my dex should still be well over 170 with the empress on. But when the boosts expire the empress becomes red and my dex goes back down to 104 as if i wasn't wearing any of it at all. I was under the impression that the boost was needed to reach 170, and after that the empress's dex bonuses count in their own requirements. Am I missing something here?

thank you darkspawn. @hailfury i already am...although cannon masters are pretty hard to find.
@richboyliang: because the game is weird. to equip a piece of gear, the game won't count any stats that equip gives you. however it will still count its stats for equipping OTHER gear.
so you need 170+highest dex requirement. usually 30 more, which is usually what the overall gives
@killerind i saw the thread. can you or anybody like @darkspawn980 explain why this is the case? why it doesn't count the highest dex bonus in meeting the requirement?
Yes, make sure to never take it off if your Dex will fall below the required...and if you think that's bad, wait for the Empress shoulders when they come out...
can't you use monkey magic from a cannoneer?

try getting evo rings or something to boost up your dex
@killerind - haha well at least until tempest (?) patch comes out.
I'm guessing that you are gonna be needing dex pots for the rest of your maple life. I am guessing that the empress only stayed on because of full set bonus stats, so when the buffs vanished the empress stats (without full set bonus) wasn't enough for it to be equipped. Try making a cannonaire, their link skill should help you out with stats.
