Do Root Abyss bosses drop skillbooks?
If so, could someone tell me how many books were dropped out of how many bosses you killed?
I'm trying to decide if these bosses could help my aran get skillbooks, because zak and hilla have close to non-existent drop rates and my aran will die in czak -___-

Yes, but the drop rate is similar to zakum.
I got soul stone and dark fog from it.

Okay, I'm just a bit unlucky I guess. Killed 4 bosses (on separate characters) and not one book >.>

They also drop mmbs
Oh second question. Do I have to finish the quest (killing all four seal guardians) before they'll start dropping books? Also ... does anyone wanna take me on a few runs >.>?
yes they do, but when the drops comes is like a big piñata. The people just take whatever they see sadly =/
Today I did 2 boss and I got 3 skill books
i did vonbon and it dropped phantom blow and angel ray at the same time
the other times, it hasn't dropped :I
Yes they do ive found overswing from vellum out of the other bosses in 1 day
