hey guys i need your help with my uni presentation
i have to do this presentation in front of my whole uni ( people who are doing my course )
it's not a major task, all i have to do is talk about an advertisement that i like
eg it's colors, what looks appealing etc etc

umm color going to attract attention so they wouldn't be listening to what you are saying.
That's like telling everyone you obsessed into video games like a true nerd.
good 'cause that was total amateur's 'graphics' work.
you can easily just google "good advertisements" and have a bunch of great ads to choose from.
don't just pick a random picture that you think looks cool but has no meaning.

OT: When I saw it I thought 'This is a troll right?' But for the benefit of the doubt, I'm horrible at criticism I guess don't paste stuff all over the focus?(The 5 Cygnus Captains).

is it an "ad" you found or an "ad" you made? 'cause if it's the latter, then I think you should follow this guy's advice about going with a slogan or something relating to the thing you're trying to advertise. you're trying to sell something right? the picture you posted does not say anything...
as for your presentation, you can also talk about how it visually targets certain people.

Well, it doesn't seem like an advertisement to me. More like an eye sore montage of grunged colors, with a few maplestory characters hidden beneath.
Maybe go with the "Because you can and it's free" and talk about how the slogan really works and what effects it has.
You used too much elements (circles, squares, characters) all together.
The color blending is pretty mushed in. Example, look at Eckhart and Hawkeye.
Try to clean it up a bit by taking away the black paint splatter.
it's a freaking mess.
looks like a noob just discovered photoshop and decided to splash a bunch of brushes on with some horrible horrible pictures.
honestly there's nothing visually appealing about the "advertisement". tasteless man tasteless.
