Photoshop Error, Killed off my drawing

Alright so I just got a new graphics card for my computer. It works excellently. Unfortunately, before putting in my graphics card, I had to turn off my computer. I saved my drawing, which I worked on for around 4 days so far, and was looking absolutely stunning and nothing like what I drew before, properly, and then turned off my computer. Now, when I try to open it on the photoshop, it says

"Could not complete your request because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered."

Does anyone know what this means? I was well done the face, hair, neck, arms, legs, and hat in a highly realistic fashion by the time this happened, and now, the only file I have left of my drawing is the original outline and a rough paint sketch of the face (I copied and enlarged it significantly in order to have more pixels to work with so I could include extra detail.)

I tried:
-restarting computer
-restarting photoshop
-renaming file
-opening file in GIMP, paint.net, painttool SAI, and other things.
-converting file and then re-saving

Nothing works. On some programs, I see a black image with several red lines and a single layer. That's all.

Help please? That's around around 15 hours of coloring down the drain... :'(

Awesome, so you guys trust the nutjobs in the government more than the intellectual masses who edit Wikipedia.

Something like that happened to me long time ago. It wasn't a drawing though. It was something like a title page for school project that took about 5 hours to do. In the end I couldn't fix it and I had to redo it.

Didn't you say legitimate?

Besides, Wikipedia is no longer the "easy for everyone to edit" website.

OT:

If you send me the file, I'll try and fix it. Might be able to.

I don't care to start a discussion about digital art with you, it's off-topic and you're obviously ignorant.
Google it or make your own thread about it to discuss it there. Don't waste my time.

Boo! It never happend to me, but I had my computer break on me in the middle of my last painting.
Now I aaaaalways safe it to an usb for safety. Did you try to transfer the file and open it on a different computer?
Really, I know nothing about computers, so I'm no help. But I hope you'll have it fixed, I want to see your newest painting
