That means you don't know that the NPC CHAT KEY HAS LAG! After you chat with npc once, it gives like a 2-3 second lag before it does it again, it wasn't as smooth as right now. Anyone back then would know.

Whenever I sent out a scout and there were a lot of people out there, I would take out a spare mouse and remove the tracking ball and have my brother click with me while I was clicking.

You can just hold down spacebar...

Anyone who knows how a leader plays during party quests is:
1. Put the "next button" on top of the npc so you can spam click it.
2. Be cautious for scouts or parties coming out.
3. Click like mad.
