To be honest, I think it's more impressive. Sure, people can do more damage now, sure Pink Bean doesn't hit AS much as before, but Pink Bean now has a 75% defense rate. That means that 75% of all damage dealt to Pink Bean is ignored. The max damage you can do to Pink Bean is 25% of your total damage.
