Just wait until Dota 2 is released officially, Lol will be dropped like a super hot pocket.
I used to play leagues( got up to elo of 1468 then got bored after a few games), then i finally got a dota 2 beta key, after playing dota for years even b4 icefrog took it over, i have to say it's still the most fun, diverse, and well made Moba game out there and i have played alien edition dota( HON), take a look at the recent additions to dota 2 and you'll see what i mean.
Don't get me wrong leauges is fun and all but it's the same match over and over again with the same meta. and each hero fits into that pre-set meta of ad carry, ap carry/nuker, jungler, support, tanky dps. Where as most dota heroes can quickly change roles and use quite a diverse set of builds to make them suit different roles for different situations. Simply creativity goes on in dota than i see in leauges( besides dominion, it's very well thought out idea). But hey i guess ease of gameplay and comic graphics make it easier to jump into and go.
