Usually driven by [b]personal greed[/b] or even outright amusement, they are unhindered by sympathy or morals and are the very face of human corruption.
So today, average day, debating over whether or not to host crimson woodkeep runs. My friend and I today wanted to Zakum, waiting for half an hour or so for a channel, eventually having them stolen or because I was afk (Sorry Nick ^_^". Not having the patience, we soon gave up. I suggest we go crimson woodkeep. It's a real hassle having to invite everyone with all the spam. I got my people and 4 buyers. Now I hardly ever have buyers, due to the scamming. But, I was in need of mesos, so was my friend. So we told our guild/alliance/buddies that we were selling MoNs for 25m. Our guild/alliance/buddies passed it along. Eventually having 4 buyers.
I, as usual, guided the buyers. Until we had the boss. This is the part I will always regret doing. [b]I ask them to pay when the MoN dopped.[/b] The first looter, was CuteOLive. The Mage boss died, MoN dropped. I trade her, she put up the 25m. I proceeded to accept the trade, but then she canceled.
"Who do I pay" she asked.
"Me, since I'm leading" I told her.
She said ok, I traded her, but instead of accepting, she went to go loot the MoN and then logged off. Oh boy, another scammer. Hurray.
The other 3 buyers paid, looted, and then logged off ( I thank you three for that ).
CuteOlive was still in my expedition now, she didn't leave when she logged off. She logged back on after 2 minutes, and left the expedition without a word. Suspicious?
I got some pretty sweet bonus, my friend got boomerang step 30 ( Lucky Kevin! >:c ), I got hurricane 30 (P/c on that please?).
Olive whisped me after I had given out the splits. Saying
"Hey are you doing run tomorrow? I d/c'd."
"Why would you come on another run you scammer, you just looted one"
"Omg no, I d/c'd"
"No, I saw you loot one"
"Well, I'll pay later, I have to go eat dinner"
Oh well, this is why I get smegas.

Its no big deal dont do something like make them pay when boss spawns what you should have done was made them pay before even starting i had no problem doing so and a non scammer shouldnt either if they dont wanna pay before going inside you kick them

It doesn't matter that it's a game and the MoN was a virtual item. What matters is that scamming, no matter online or in real life or in a dream or on mars somewhere, is wrong and never in any way, no matter what excuses you can throw up, be right. It doesn't matter that all the TS lost was made of pixels. The person who scammed had a bad intention, and you can't say that it was ok for her to do what she did.
