Alright so I was getting this same 2min dc issue and I went to great lengths to try solve it, re-installing windows etc. I had also re-installed maplestory a million times using v118 installer and 2 manual patches, yet it still didnt work. We can all conclude that the issue for most starts with hackshield giving error 0x30000030(805306416). Those of us that fixed that by replacing our hackshield folder with the one provided on the nexon website were then hit with 2min dcs. So as I had exhausted all possibilities and at the same time concluded that the current HSield.zip on the nexon website is also bugged. I downloaded v120 installer. I installed it, it updated by itself and my dc issue is gone. I cannot test it anymore but as there was another temp fix that was presented by someone http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/2535773 which involves rolling back your HSupdate.exe to an earlier version (which helped some people), I have a theory that getting your hands on the hackshield folder that comes with the v120 installer could possibly fix the problem for some more people. If you guys either download the v120 installer or get someone to upload the hackshield that comes with it, then it may work. The reason I went to such great length to explain was that re-installing didn't work for most people but I also believe that most people used an old installer like I did, instead of actually re-downloading. Hope this solves it for some of you.
No Seems that most people are fine so no1 cares about it... Definitely not our fault, because there's tons of people with the issue and threads about it. Also, it seems it started occuring only yesterday out of the blue.
