high five, glad to know i have at least one person on my side. nobody else seems to appreciate it when i walk around in public rapping gucci gucci

and i mean yeah there's plenty besides metal but i watch theneedledrop a lot and i feel left out when he reviews a really dense metal record because i just can't get into it, pretty much every other genre is fair game though
That feeling when you're in a party full of hipsters and you're the only person there listening to Gucci Gucci enjoying the experience for legitimate reasons and none of this "ironic" B.S. Iknowthatfeelbro.jpg

Haha, speaking of theneedledrops, that guy is such a music dork it's hilarious. I don't think he "gets" metal or hardcore music. I don't mean this in the annoying music elitist way either, just in the sense that he doesn't really listen to the music as much as he just nerds out to them, which imo is completely missing the point. Same thing as when suburban kids get really into Alice in Chains without realizing it's some of the most brutal, depressing music ever made by burn-out junkies. It's cool that they enjoy it, but they literally do not understand what they're listening to.

That being said, I was pleasantly surprised when he turned out to be a chillbro when he made that video dissing "real music" idiots. Guy is still a dork though. "I haven't tried any drugs but this is what I imagine it feels like!" -quote from his review of a Sun O))) concert. Hilarious. Basically, don't think you're missing out on much based on his reviews, haha.

i think trashy white-girl hip-hop is the pinnacle of modern music but i also listen to a lot of drone, punk and noise rock

my taste in music isn't as eclectic as it could be because i don't listen to a lot of metal but that's not so much because i don't like the genre as it is that i just haven't really bothered to try listening to a lot of it so

Lol @ people listing entry level classical music thinking it makes variable play lists.

Get on my level people, I can jam to Naked City, switch it up to the Free Design, listen to Arzachel if I get bored and party to Pitbull when I go out.
