Are Shads good?
I love my Kaiser and all, but I usually have a secondary char I play when I'm bored of the main. I have two choices between Phantom and Shad. I already know about Phontoms, but are Shads good? At bossing, mobbing, and how fun are they?

You cannot argue opinions because they are OPINIONS.
also a hene Ho, is typically a low level character loaded with Nx from the cash shop. Do you see any nx on me? In fact your character fits the title hene ho far more than I do, as not only are you a lower level, but you spent nx on your hair and possibly a transparent hat.
Bossing and mobbing are decent, mobbing for 2nd and 3rd job are terrible though, after fourth its all good.
Fun is subjective, you'll have to try it out yourself to see if you like it or not.
Survivability is superb because of meso guard, which blocks 50% of the damage inflicted by monsters, it also works against 1/1 at bosses. Smokescreen gives invincibility, the only problem is the animation which has yet to be fixed... Shads have iframes from many of their skills and they have shadow shifter for dodge chance and some %avoid from shield mastery and dagger expert.
You can hit high numbers because of the high % on skills, though most skills are relatively slow due to the delay. You can easily hit cap with assassinate with only 35k range, but you'll need to do use it with DS and 5 body counts. You'll need 55k to hit cap with nate with only DS.

OT: Shads are quite nice, especially if youre a ua, the first few levels are harder... but until you get to 4th job, bstab with 710% (?) with +20% with hyper skill... making it easy to hit over the 100ks. They are very nice bossers as well, midnight carnival contributing while pickpocket is on and then using meso explosion. It is easy to hit cap with assassinate with 5 body count and dark sight active...
Hyper skill Flip the Coin has no cooldown and once you reach the 5th stack (+25% damage +50% crit rate) makes it easier to kill. Also, upon reaching the 5th stack, once you crit again and activate the skill again the duration refreshes on the 5th stack...
Shads are okay, not the best, not he worst.

They are cool a good enough reason to play one
Mobbing 1st-3rd job is horrible! If you can get past that, you're good. I think they're fun because of ME, and i-frames from b-step.
Also, I hate Phantoms so this post is biased.
