The Finisher - can it proc on Twister Spin?
Hello.
I was going through the extractions for this patch, and I noticed there was a note about mage final attack (The Finisher) now working on Twister Spin.
Did it not work before?
Does it work now?
Doesn't this effectively almost double Twister Spin's 1v1 damage?

It relies a lot more on random chance. In a perfect situation, you're putting out 11/13 lines per second (not sure if it's 4 hits per second or 5, someone confirm?) with twister spin, but that relies on each hit proccing finisher, and 3 lines from ADA. Average would be about 2 lines less, because the finisher's only at a 40% chance.
Finishing Blow can get up to 11 lines per second; 6 from FB, 1 from FA, 3 from ADA, 1 tele mastery. Over time you'll get one more attack every 4 or 5 seconds, so it averages out to probably 12 lines/sec. Each of the 6 lines from FB is smaller than any of the 4/5 lines from Twister Spin.
I think TS works out a little stronger overall, if it's connecting 40% Finishers like you'd expect, and much better if you're lucky and get a higher rate. Plus it kinda sounds like a helicopter. Of course, it has a cooldown, so I'd guess it balances out that way.[/quote]
Nice calc, but for actually testing it out, I can tell you that FB tramples hardcore on TS. I tested it out at crockies fully buffed. With FB hits of about 650-850K, it took 2 FBs (1.1s, right) to kill a croc. Holding down twister with cap damage took more than that (more around 1.5-2s). Even if the numbers show otherwise, that's what it came down to.
The only place i use twister is at bosses with multiple parts (like zakum), where TS is useful for the range. Or to vary my hunting to not get bored.

I'm pretty sure I answered your topic... I have a lv 130 BaM and yes finisher profs with any dmg skill but reaper. There's nothing more to be said, not sure how I hijacked you r thread.. But whatever.

Yes I'm pretty sure it can proc the finisher, and yes it does just about double our damage.
OT: why the heck can't reaper proc when I'm at LHC?
