percent stat vs percent bosspdr
Hi Basil
Would you rather have a 15% main stat weapon or a 30% boss, 15% pdr weapon? If you saw my other thread about my 15% str psb, I decided to take a risk and cube with 4 cubes left. I was pissed when nothing good came up and the last cube gave me 30% boss and 15% pdr. Is this better than 15% str that I got before? Thanks guys
Statistics:
7 cubes rare >>> epic
4 cubes epic >>> unique
7 cubes nothing good >>> 15% str
4 cubes 15% str >>> 30% boss, 15% pdr
How does pdr work ?

@scandalists: Nope pyrope+booster hits the cap
Assuming you're a DrK and unless you're not using Sacrifice, ignore PDR is absolutely useless.
As for your PDR question:
Let's take a monster with 40 PDR as an example.
With no PDR ignore, you do 1 - 0.4 = 0.6 times your damage.
If you had 30% PDR ignore, you do 1 - 0.7*0.4 = 0.72 times your damage.
@scandalists: ah what I just meant mage wise thought you were talking about your priest my bad.Uhhh Well depends decent SI eventually gets released so you probably wanna go with the 161.
For mobs with 10% pdr, the difference with pdr ignore is very minimal; however, once you get to bosses or LHC mobs with 25%-70% pdr, that 15% starts to look a lot better.
Even so it's a very small difference on LHC mobs and bosses. So on bosses which have the most PDRm boss damage would make a much bigger difference.
ur lucky so keep it or sell it for bils
kinda wondering this also...
and srry for stealing your thread but how much better is fast(4) than fast (5)
Doesn't affect mages except battle mages.
PDR is better by far.
To be honest on most mobs the difference in damage from PDR is VERY VERY small. I remember people running formulas and the % damage in areas was something in the 1-3% range.
THANK YOU guys I LOVE YOU
PDR is better by far.
It's better if you boss crap load. I'd personally aim for 30%boss and %stat.
