Heroic star and pentacle

I am returning to maple after 16 months. I just job changed a character to stage 4 . But I still have the heroic star and pentacle with me. Is it safe for me to throw them since they dont seem to have a use beyond this?

As said above , I made a canon shooter for its link skill. Making a 70 lvl Shooter wasnt very hard with big bang EXP curve.

there is an event that allows you to make a CS DS or merc till may 23rd

Obviously they don't have a lvl 200 character, at least on basil. Safe to conclude they're just pulling some chains.
