Azwan Vs Explorer Pirates
Any1 else getting a bit annoyed?only problem i have is on the rare chances i die thanks to no invince frames from getting hit lazor+touch dmg/ me not paying attention is that once you die they do not reset the CD of super transformation... i can see they dint put much thought about pirates on this considering buccs were revamped by the time azwan came out in KMS but still but not resetting our CD makes the weakest class weaker.. So what are the troubles you are experiencing as an explorer pirate in Azwan?

I recommend just defending if you're a buccaneer.
Let the other high-mobility classes rush to the guardian tower and kill it.
While you stay behind with 1-2 party members to prevent the mobs from reaching the end.
Note that you CAN IGNORE the owl tower in the beginning, they can't move. The real threat is the mobs.
If the mobs reach the end, they will heal the guardian tower with A LOT of HP.
This is what my plan is most of the time for Occupy/Attack mode:
+3 people rush to the tower and kill it quickly
+3 defenders move forward slowly while destroying mobs along the way
+Owl statues can be ignored, even if they drop annoying rocks on us.
+If the 3 rushers take too long killing the boss, the 3 defenders can rush to the boss when all the mobs on the left side are cleared.
if it weren't for the demo i-frames id be burning more potions than i alrdy do lol.

Really the only advantage Buccaneers have in azwan is Demolition iframes to avoid the 1HKO lasers.

This is what I do, too, except that I replace DS with BSB since it still allows you to avoid a few attacks and it's spammable. If your party members haven't already destroyed the hoards of monsters, I think BSB would be a better alternative than DS, which leaves you vulnerable to being hit.
Our mobility is so crap that by the time I reach the very far tower on the right, my team is already victorious.
But I can tell you for sure that Aswan map is very similar to PvP in which skills that should have iframes are ignored but Demolition is programmed to work with the dodge.
lol no transform in azwan is the worst, in hard mode i cant do nothing without it or ill die

Yup, having a miserable time with Azwan.
I can barely find a party and I'm level 200.. which is sad.
@icrush i prefer remaining that extra min killing the mobs along with towers it gives more honor exp

I love using my lvl 10 skills and giving 1/4 of damage that everyone else does.
Super Transformed Dragon Strike is pretty lame compared to everyone else around me. Barrage and Demo are nice for the towers, but we get swarmed so easily. Plus, I think Energy Orb's chain effect doesn't even work.
I can't even use my Gunslinger because Aswan disconnects me when I play on him.
i think all buccs feel this way? kind of like a kick on the stomach we can do so much better in this pq if we were revamped but nope. And then not even going through the small problem of resetting our CDs on dice and ST >.< sigh.. i hope it really is august 8th for our sake
yea it is annoying as crap.
