Mesoranger equips only Female?

Hey everyone! I just started playing Maple again with some friends of mine who decided to restart while on winter break. Since they restarted and I've never played a magician past level 20 and I have no magic attack or % int items I figured I'd make a magician and not start out with flat 30% str and 40 attack from common items for once...

Anyway, while doing the quests for the Mesorangers and getting the equip rewards, each one that I've got so far (4) says (Female) After it but when I looked them up on basil nothing about gender is mentioned. Are these hats/overalls really only for females and I've gotten really unlucky or is it a typo?
