Maplestory trying to be racy?
Has anyone else noticed the higher degree of risque material in the recent content? In the Kaiser storyline quests there is a grown woman you talk to in Pantheon who sexually harasses you (you are a small boy) and calls you things like "Hot stuff". Also when you talk to cassandra about the santa's suprise reward, she tells you that santa santa used to send her pictures of himself in his underwear.... These things dont bother me personally but i know this is supposed to childrens game. Is this just nexons attempt to be cool? or hip? Because i dont feel like being called attractive by an NPC enhances my gaming experience...

Man, back in the day -- you know Amoria, right? There used to be a hair salon there, right? And on the roof there was a phone number, right? It was something corny, like 1-800 - I LUV MAPLE or something; I don't remember. ANYWAY, dialing that number sent the caller to an adult chat hotline. I doubt it was intended; it was probably entirely coincidental, but the number's gone now and the salon was completely torn down.
Has Anyone actually read the spiegelmanns gonzo galleries scripts >.>
I had a guildie reading it off a couple days ago, and it's full of crude things
Remember Our showa town was censored... The tanks were replaced by cars at the bains map etc.

Funny thing was, when Showa Town was released (before pirates) one of the mobs actually carried a gun. It was later changed into a tiger paw, but still used the animation and sound effects. I guess Nexon got over that since Gunslingers were released and the mob was changed back to its original self.

EDIT: Who even reads what the NPCs say? I just skip through it and click accept.
Maplestory has always had some crude/wacky humor. A few of the older events and quests had things like this.
