How do you inspire yourself to draw?

Hey Basil!
So lately I've been trying to get back into art, and it's not going as smoothly as I hoped. I love drawing a lot but I can never get myself to do it.

So, in the attempt of trying to draw again, I'm asking what do you basil artists do to inspire yourself and keep yourself motivated.

@dyaoskee: Funny, I already know exactly what you're saying. I took a long time to make a piece and it came out really really good. I knew that art took time, but I never really took my own advice from it. But now that you're saying it, it feels like it's echoing. This time, I feel like I can take the advice now. All I have to say now is thank you.
I do this sometimes but I end up thinking of an overly complicated drawing and over estimate my drawing skills and I try to draw it and I realize how much I suck and give up. LOL. Yeah I know, not a good habit.
hahah i get this feeling all the time, but what I have realized is that, no I dont suck, im just lazy.
i have huge ideas that i want to be able to put down in drawings and when i go and attempt it, i think, wow, this is too difficult or way over my drawing abilities, when in fact its not, i just have to give it time.
you cant expect to have a great idea and be able to draw it out perfectly from your imagination the first time. great art takes time, and many reiterations. thats the beauty of drawing. if you dont like it, you can change it to your liking, over and over again.

i also recently got back into drawing, and being rusty sucks, really is a downer but hey, practice makes perfect right? haha

and to answer your original question. something that has helped me a lot when i have no idea what to draw is just dont think about it and just do it. theres always something you are good at drawing or just love to draw. for me, i love trees and when i dont know what to do, i just start swirling and *boom, its a tree lol.

tl;dr: you dont suck, art takes time. you cant expect to have it to be perfect immediately. and find something you love to draw or you are used to drawing, helps gets the creative juices flowing
If you have issues with poses, try figure/gesture drawing to practice
Woah this is pretty cool. I'll be sure to use this for future reference
I simply listen to music. Listen to the lyrics, and you're likely to get some kind of image to draw.
This is interesting. I haven't really thought of this before. I always thought "Wow I could do better than that". I find your saying better though.

Actually, so far this is the most helpful post LOL. I would doodle people, but I never know what poses to make or something because idk.
