Why would i want to spam a weaker AOE attack when i can efficiently take them out 1 by 1 with a few slashes?
The larger Aoe's are only good on monsters with small amounts of hp. As soon as i get to lhc or stronghold, quickly taking them down one at a time wil ultimately save my hp.[/quote]
You already state it's situational. I kinda dont like LKC anymore because it's a pain finding a party.

Have you trained at LHC? Or even SH? or maybe HoH? Gigas is one of the most used... Spam blade burst command to fill gauge, then spam gigas in final form...
Initially, you'll want to max your damage-based skills (generally skills that affect your whole skill set.) Going for skillbooks such as Expert Sword Mastery or Unbreakable Will are a good choice as they are some of the core skills you max.
Personally, I decided to pick Expert Sword Mastery and ended up maxing it first.

@zander145: No (highest I've ever gotten a character to is 151), but Mastery dramatically increases your range.

@KingsGlory: Not really... It's the most used skill. Especialy when grinding, because of the speed of slash.
Then again the amount (or lack of) funding plays a big part in what you need.

Giga Wave. It's the skill your going to use the most and it's one of the more expensive books.
um, kasier all skill maxes anyways, just level the buffs first

I don't think Nova Warrior is one of the options, but i would recommend mastery or Tempest blades thing.
