How do you get to the Hardrive of your computer?
My mom just broke my computer, and the computer is saying the Boot Driver can't be found. I'm pretty sure that the hardrive just got dislodged, how can I get to the hardrive?
BTW: My computer is a Pavillion dv6 and it's a laptop if that helps.

O yea, if she dropped you laptop, Good luck chuck, your going to need to buy a new harddrive.
First of all, how did she break it? Second, if she corrupted some files, my recommendation is to either repair the Operating System with either a Windows 7 or Vista installation disk (which ever is installed on your computer), or reinstall your operating system. This is of course if your mom corrupted software. For hardware, I have never came across anything similar so I cannot help you, sorry.
Considering that I have no idea what I'm doing I'm gonna just get my mom to take my computer to Best Buy and try and get it fixed.
Will I need a screw driver to get it out?
