Boku no namae wa Dennis desu. (boku is for males, and I think you only do ____ desu when you introduce yourself by your last name, ex. Suzuki desu instead of Dennis desu)
_____ daigaku no gakusei desu.
Ima ninensei desu.
Senkou (your major? I have different romaji) wa ________.
Hatachi desu.
Yoroshiku onegaishimasu.
Ya I'm using the genki text book might sound familiar to some of you
Saying Jap or calling a Japanese person Jap is considered highly offensive.
Also be careful on how you tone certain words or else your sentence can change meaning and offend a Japanese person.
@IKickCats: Nationality is not yoroshiku onegaishimasu. To say your nationality just say the country followed by jin. For example, if you're spanish say "supeenjin desu". It'll be slightly different for other countries though.
Thanks again man you've been a lot of help!

@IKickCats: Do you guys use a text book? That should help you a lot with translating things. If not, ask your professor about it and check it with him/her.
Keep the "Yoroshiku onegaishimasu" as an ending to your introduction, add your nationality before it though.
It somewhat translates to, it's nice to meet you/ i'll be in your care.

Weaboo are the people that learn japense from the anime they watch, I don't really watch subbed anime or even dubbed for that matter much.
Okay, what does that have to do with you being defensive over being called a weeaboo?
@MagisterMagi: Daigakusei=College Student. Daigaku ichinensei=Freshman college student. I'm assuming he's a freshman anyway if he's in Jap 1.
@IKickCats: I don't know how to say majoring in psychology, so that's probably why I didn't get it. As for I'm a college student, say "daigaku ichinensei desu."
Oh I see thanks for your help guys I know it's a lot to ask but maybe this well help
For a better insight this what I need to memorize
Hajimemash1(again 1 means i)te Mearii Haato desu.
Arizona daiguku no gakusee desu
Ima ninensee desu. Senkoo wa nihongo desu.
Juukyuusai desu Yoroshiku onegaishimasu.
I have to replace mearii haato with my name
Arizona daigaku with my college nihongo desu with my major
and juukyuusai with my age. I know all I have to do is replace words but I don't want to go up there and so like a total moron in front of my class mates because I said it all wrong xD. I also need to say my nationality which I assume is yoroshiku onegaishimasu however I don't know how to say hispanic in japense or well write it out to be more exact.
@IKickCats: I don't know how to say majoring in psychology, so that's probably why I didn't get it. As for I'm a college student, say "daigaku ichinensei desu."
Isnt ichinensei the year of school? For college student it would be Daigakusei. For the psychology part, just ask your professor what the translation is and just use it.
@IKickCats: I don't know how to say majoring in psychology, so that's probably why I didn't get it. As for I'm a college student, say "daigaku ichinensei desu."
So much romaji it hurts. Let me try to help specific parts...
First of all, say "boku no namae ha(pronounced wa) dennis desu" instead of just "dennis desu". I don't even know what the 2nd line is trying to say so I won't bother. For the 3rd line, say "hatachi desu". Hatachi=20 years old. Last line is fine.
Ah I see thanks, what I'm trying to say in the 2nd line is I'm a college student majoring in psychology

Add "watashi wa" before "Denis"
Use "Hatachi desus" instead of nijuu. (the number is right, but this is for a persons age)
You lost me at senkoo wa shinrigaku. Nothing comes to mind when i sound that out =-=;; sorry.
