Dota 2 How is it?

I'm tired of league and I'm thinking about playing Dota 2. Is it better than League?

The tutorial/learning system in Dota 2 still hasn't been implemented yet, so only way you can learn is through bots (often a poor representation of people you play with and against in solo matchmaking), replays/guides from pros/tournament games (see how they play, although trying to emulate that will not be that easy) or you can go straight into solo matchmaking, but make sure you've selected that you're new to the game when it asks you at the start.

It's alright.
Though you might wanna try out plenty of practice on building and stuff.
Get to know it. Even a bot/ai game takes quite a while(takes me a 1hour+ on easy)
Gotta play like 20 of these.
It's complex.
Them the last hitting. Building Bottles for buffs. The stats. The skills/abilities of each hero. How to counter each one.
The unforgiving gameplay(death=money loss). Using going around getting items from the shop and storage. (you gotta use a separate horse creature thing that can deliver you some items if you still wanna stay in battle and not go back.) Buying teleports. Buying secret shop items.
Plenty to go around.
It's very competitive and hell, even bots can murder you and they don't care, they chase you from miles away.
Many heroes also have crazy CC abilities, so like 2-3 sec stuns. Always watch your ass.
Even easy bots destroy you if not careful. Though your team usually wins.(no thanks to you)-they usually get more kills and stuff than you if you are very nooby.

It takes time to get used to.

the transition from LoL to DOTA is rough unless you have lots of prior experience with DOTA
LoL is easy compared to DOTA which is 10x more complex
