Many animals had a round head which stored life knowledge and some kind of tail to travel. The blackness signifies everything, I could have done a black rainbow theme but I wasn't sure how the human eye would discern the color spectrum if they were somehow about to see God from such specific range and distance. This is based on science and a few sacred books just to rule out any flaws and such.
