+1@yearn: That has to be the biggest lie ever. Clown is by far the easiest, I was soloing clown since the implementation of CRA. Chaos vellum has the hardest mechanics, most HP with most Pdr, and the least amount of time available since half of the battle he is underground or surrounded by tails.
@yearn: As a mechanic you have stance. Imagine green gas knock back + spawning tails. Also the randomness of getting hit by a spike when rushing to the opposite side of breath. I can't believe this is even an argument.
@wall: Well you are doing somethinng wrong. Von bons attacks are a preset pattern of you haven't noticed and are entirely predictable, and even if they weren't he makes a very easily audible noise that allows you to know when to jump. And sure its luck based but not by no means any bit "hard", even with bad hat luck, as a MM, one of the classes with the lowest hits per second and most restricting cap, I always finish with at least 10 mins left.. You need very little damage to kill Pierre due to the double damage effect of opposite hat. The ONLY class that can make an argument on pierre would be classes like NL with stars that can heal other color uncontrollably, but even recently they became toggle skills. Pierre is so easy I can do him on my NL with 1.1m range 180% boss. I can't do the rest on my NL though.
+2@yearn pet potion doesnt help cvell at all since you'll get one shot by everything anyways (unless you're a paladin).
I'd probably say Queen -> Chicken -> Clown -> Vellum is order of difficulty from left to right. Cvel's easy when you've gotten use to the game, but there's constant positioning aspect and timing. Clown's easy but it's also easy to screw over yourself and get caught in hats.
@itoldyounoob: I agree with this! I find the first 3 bosses quite easy and equal with each having their annoying traits.
Pierre - hat luck
Queen - Zombify + fire
Von Bon - White clocks (don't affect people with high damage though!)
However, difficulty spike and spike in range/Pdr needed to kill Cvell.
