i'm probably gonna get flamed for using this "legit" argument, but if you have TRADED at least ONCE in your entire time playing maplestory, you are NOT legit. Most of the mesos in maplestory now are from botters and such. Have you ever bought NX, sold NX, used a white scroll, abused the 50% scroll aran thing, swore, "uncensored" a word such as a swear like duck with dcuk? (you all know what i mean). The list goes on. So you can NEVER say you are 100% legit unless you don't trade anyone and get everything by YOURSELF.
My point, why are you not so butthurt over something that happened in the past? big whoop, people do things, accept it and let it go. and as stated before, why would anyone care if someone who hacked before will hack again? Are you going to keep track of them 24/7 to make sure that they will? You mentioned that she admitted that what you said was true, but what you seemed to miss is that she said she was done and that was in the past. Again, IN THE PAST. Drop it and move on, sounds like you just got dumped or something and can't seem to accept it.

I get your analogy fine. I just don't think it really has the relevance you'd care for it to.
Regardless, Akatsuki's comment was not only futile, but also unnecessary.

While I am Sammi's friend, I would also be the friend to tell her when she's doing wrong. When she did get banned, she deserved it. It'd be idiotic for her to blow the second chance she was given.

Same thing for ksers, many are nice, many aren't. I love when I run into nice hackers/ksers that cc and respect you. They're the only reason I haven't exploded yet. The other day one was ksing me and a stronger one came and defended my ch, he's the hero gotham deserves!

I do pride myself attempting to maintain as 100% legit as possible, yes, but I have never mentioned anywhere that I consider myself better than those who do not. I have explained my reasoning for my position against ex-hackers in that we do not know for sure if they are telling the truth when they say they will change. The fact that she succumbed to using hacks in the first place shows that she has the mentality of one. Sammi was banned and unbanned, it makes sense that she would try not to get into any trouble that would result in another ban. But like I said, she has shown the capability and willingness to hack, it is entirely plausible she might do it again. People always say things which may not always be true, but what we know for sure is that she has in fact hacked in the past. I simply find the situation hypocritical, I seek no infamy whatsoever.

Oh, and I'd like to have you know that I did not write those tags. You may believe me or not, but I actually was eating dinner the time she posted the picture and returned to see it, along with the tags there. I appreciate the blind accusation though.

No game is safe from hacking, even if nexon did sue the creators of BT they would still bring it back. Stop complaining about too many hackers their were their since day 1.

in the past it has gone noticeably out of control. it takes 20k range for a kaiser to use stack attacks to kill empress. me and 2 other friends who solo v2 drops resort to putting something heavy on the NPC button and watching tv. today i took like 5 hours and i never even got in. each of the people that went in took 50-60 minutes, meaning that they killed for her drops.

I was AFK in a map of Aliens while 2exp, went to school for 1 class, came back 2hrs later and I was perma banned... Nexon doesn't care about that... kept playing on 2 other account and I have sent screenshots of hackers in Scania...

@mark24: Yet that only leads me to being right, hackers have made gear easier to obtain. So more average maplers can boss at levels as high as empress.

most of the gear that allowed players to get to where they are now was made possible by hackers. this game is tainted and hackers touch everyone.

Lololol people actually think Nexon's gonna fix anything. Of course they're trying to stop the bots/hacks which they do! unfortunately, hackers have a tendency to update their hacks. Meaning that Nexon is back at square one.

Banning hackers isn't going to do anything either. They'll just make another account and continue as if nothing ever happened.
