Hey everyone, firstly I'd like to start off by saying I know this isn't, so if bodybuilding, powerlifting, and/or general fitness doesn't interest you then please hit the back button and go back to the Anime section. There use to be a pretty big fitness community on Basil back when I would post (My last post on this account was exactly 1 year ago, October 2015). I thought that I would start a thread to see if anyone around is still lifting, hitting their macros, and making sick gains. Feel free to post your stats & goals in a similar format, I'd love to hear what other people's lifts are and what you're trying to achieve.

I'm now 25 years old, I've been lifting for about 6 years now. I consider myself more of a powerlifter than a bodybuilder since my main goal during training is strength rather than muscle growth, however I do supplement my workouts with a lot of hypertrophy as well.

At 185 lb bodyweight my big 3 are:

315 Benchpress
435 Squat
515 Deadlift

@carbyken that's like the opposite for me. I worked there the longest of the other CCs there (except the lifers) and I almost never saw any exciting incident happen. Someone would just always tell me about it the next day.
Even other coworkers realized I was never freaking there when something interesting happened.

@fradddd: I wouldn't call it a good thing, usually it's just bad stuff. Yesterday there was a couple arguing, their toddler was running around unsupervised, and apparently the dude might've punched his probably now exgf.

The best part is 4 people called the police, there's a police station literally right next door, and NO ONE showed up! Even the patrol guard disappeared! So that whole mess lasted for an hour before they finally disappeared. And still not one officer showed up.

Sorry for the odd dark turn there, still kinda fresh in my mind. But yea 9 times out of 10 it's better to not be there since it can get pretty graphic or just surreal.

Do your biceps peak? I could never ever get mine too. Right now my arms are 16 inches. Tips on peaking and what size are you guys at?

+1 @upcomingnerd:bicep peaks are strictly genetics. if you have a long bicep head then it is harder to have a peak but easier ( also preferd) to have meaty/thick biceps. if you have a short head bicep then peaks are easier to achieve

@xdarkshynobi: everytime i get offerd to workout in a group im either injured or its with people who are weaker than me. really want to workout in a group of people who are strong as heck and im not crippling

+1 @rixworkwix: What I mean is like running with a 800pound log.

With out team work you won't get far. Switch off on running

with a 180 lb dude on your shoulder.

Even just running 6 miles "together". I coulda switch &

ran with the m16. I couldn't though. The strong are meant to

shoulder what others can't.

So many times; I wanted to just take the easy route but,

when you see people doing back breaking work. It really makes

you feel some typa way.
