Better exp and spawn than MP3?

Hi there
I was just completing some quests today, and I was at herb town completing a quest to kill captains and krus, and get the hooks from captains.
I'm level 78 already but I have never went into the pirate ship so I figured a new place could be cool. So, going there, I saw there was a mini dungeon, and I got in since I figured the quest would go a lot faster in there. So then I noticed a couple of things -
1. There are 3 platforms on this map
2. It is VERY small, and each platform has a good sniping point in this way or another for ranged characters, IL in particular with thunderbolt
3. The captains give 285 exp, which is more than either of the MP3 monsters.
4. The spawn rate is INSANE, almost immediate respawn, and the mobs are very big.

Now, it's true that these are level 70 monsters and you should not head there when you just start out MP3, but I think, for those who have decent gear or just enough experience to survive there, this place might just be a great alternative to MP3 when getting bored, or when you absolutely can't get a spot say at 2x event. At a certain level it might even be better.
The downside is they have a lot more HP. 15K HP to be exact. Also they don't hit me much now but I'm assuming they'll do heavier damage to lower levels.

What do you think, anyone who has been there?
After MP3 is when ppl start WRs and they have 16k hp and give 800 exp, now 515 exp is alot more for 1k hp more, even if the spawn isnt as good it can be 1/3 as good and ur still getting more exp at WRs
Which is why I'm suggesting this place as a middle point between MP3 and people who still can't WR yet.

For now pirates have too much hp to be considered a good training place. In BB it will become good.

Yes, for non-mobbers it doesn't make much sense.

I have been there, and I agree. It is a nice map, but not for my current characters. It is good for people that mob fast and well. I, personally, am better at killing wrs.
thought mp3 is a bigger map the spawn rate and size are bigger than pirate mini dungeon
plus its better for a bigger map than a smaller map
and mu lung is way to far from any major city so its kinda lonely out there =p
You are wrong about the first part, there is much bigger spawn, and the rate at which they spawn is also insane.
I don't see how it's better for a bigger map? o.O... less navigation = more exping than walking?
Also you can just take a couple of friends with you? XD It's not like you always have to play at the spots everyone do.

I agree the HP makes a huge difference, but in my opinion at a certain point it just might be better than MP3.
@whoever said that jesters might be better, no, they're not. In general, jesters is a horrible idea, and I have NO idea why people go there. 50K hp for 1.5K exp? No thank you. Too slow for me. And once you're strong enough to 3-4 hit kill jesters, you're strong enough to take on monsters which have less HP and give better exp.
Since I was aiming this thread more towards ranged characters, the damage they do shouldn't be too relevant because of said sniping platforms. (More mages than anything else)
Windraiders are also not better in my opinion. Why? Lower levels won't survive long, and again, the mobs just can't compete with this mini dungeon. It has a really good spawn rate. At say 2x events, 570 exp of constant killing (if you're strong enough as I said) seems pretty good to me.

Well, I've been to that map while I was doing my Evan quests and found it was alright as well. But training on MP3 just is that little bit better IMO. Since if you're funded enough to go to Captains and Krus, you probably can 1-2 shot kill the monsters at MP3, which although there is less spawn, will give more exp since they have about a third of the HP but give more than 75% of their EXP. So I'm guessing it's still a good spot when MP3 is too crowded, but for me, MP3 is better.

Edit: Wow, heaps of what I said got ninja'd ^^
