Why is Maplestory on Steam neglected?
I never get to see the events or updates because I only use steam to access maplestory.
Everytime I go to website I get major lag from all the gif ads they put up.
Why can't they just updates the steam news like every other games does.

Yeah, just check basil. Plenty of people avoid the website like the plague (lol paranoia) and they find out info just fine. Steam was just a ploy to attract more customers, I doubt steam is at the top of their mind when they update news on the game.
Logging in through steam doesn't work for me if I'm not logged in to the site anyway. Even if it didn't though, I would just check the site. It's not that hard.
just go on basil and see what kind of threads pop up
and look at mrB's pinned up event notes.
If you HAVE TO have to visit the site then visit it.
That's what I do.
I rely on Basilers to post up patch notes. I know where you're coming from though, that website of theirs is way too pimped up and shiny. They need to focus on something else.

Thought they blocked that so it auto closes unless you start it with an account. Or when ever I try to launch it it disconnects me unless I have an account already logged in.

i use windows 8 and ms from the site works fine o.o
Get an ad blocker, and don't use internet explorer.
