Dark Knight vs. Hero

Alright, so, I fully funded my Hero with a total of 87% STR & a 20 Weapon Attack, 6% STR Shield. She's using a decently scrolled VIP 1H Axe with 15% Atk Unique Pot which I'll probably give to a nubby Demon Slayer friend who needs help with some basic funding. After playing my Hero for sometime now, I'm beginning to miss my old 132 Dark Knight, and I can't decide which to play. So, I decided, whichever character can get a higher range/DPM/better bossing damage with 85% STR, 58 Attack from equips (excluding Shield), and about 1 ~ 2bil to spend on a weapon, what would I be more successful with? A Dark Knight or a Hero? I could also probably get around 500mil+ for my Shield to add towards funding for my weapon if I don't use the Hero, or use 2H on the Hero. However, I'm pretty sure 1H Hero > 2H Hero.

Hero, because they have great damage. Also, in warrior revamp we get raging blow which hits 5 times and last hit is critical. Intrepid slash becomes 3rd job and brandish becomes 2nd.
Lack in survivability o.o I have 28k hp at 156. That's not lacking you just need to pot every like 10 hits. And idk about the rest of you but on my drk with 80%str and a 170atk weapon, I hit 90-100k a line, upwards of 140 if it's a critical. On my hero I hit no were near that a line.
*raise eyebrow* 2 things I will point out.

1) No matter how much hp you will have, 1/1 + seduce is a drk's weakness. Hero's have power guard and pallys.......well, idk what they have but they have a lot of defensive stuff. Point is, you can avoid having this problem but most drks will have some kind of experience of this at some point.
2) It's true that drks can be able to dish out good damage but heros are late bloomers and when they have most of their skills maxed, they are the strongest explorer warrior. Another thing to show that heros beat drks is that when a hero cap IS and a drk cap DI, the drk is better but the heros will get a new move (raging blow) in the next warrior revamp. It will hit the same amount of hits as DI, get a 100% chance to have a crit on the last hit, and with all the passive/active atk buffs they currently have (too lazy to find out), they will outmatch drks in both 1v1 and mobbing situations. Now, I'm not saying that drks are that bad but compared to the other explorer warriors, it shows that they are pretty bad.

This doesn't mean that it's bad to have a drk...if you don't mind the lack of the two said weaknesses, you can have fun with your drk. ^^

If you're a nerd who focuses on numbers and not for entertainment reasons then go with Hero by all means. If you enjoy Intrepid Slash for the rest of your Hero
career then by all means. But A Dark Knight is just so easy and fun w/o hp pots and their sense of uniqueness or at least its style.

With that kind of funding mentioned, I believe you can enjoy your numbers with your Dark Knight as well ;D <3
I think its around 50 to 70k a line of Intrepid slash for an AVERAGE hero
That would be an average hero at 130 or something

Dark Knights play more of support role than an offensive role. If you want damage choose hero. Like everyone else said dark's are just for fun

Wait until Dark Knights get their (inevitable) next revamp. Too bad that's what this game has come to, but it's true.

Soon, Hero gets a skill that hits what... 6 or 8 times? Regardless your amount of funding, you will NOT be able to beat the damage output. Stick with Hero until they give specific hyper skills to specific classes.

wrong. Drks are mediocre when it comes to dealing damage. Godly funded drk > godly funded hero... until a couple months from now when they get left in the dust forever(exaggerated...hopefully). They will be weaker than both godly funded hero AND godly funded paladin. Now thats just embarrassing, weaker than a paladin. Im not dissing drk's, I have a 160 one myself, but nexon just isnt doing right by them. But thats ok b/c I have a hero and paladin as well, so Ill just tuck my drk away until they get the true revamp that they deserve.

Go hero. As soon as you get your update you have a better version of dark impale. You won't be missing anything that a dark has besides their cool life steal. Even then it only saves pots during training.

Drks lack in survivability and damage. Heros have both.

Go with the hero if you're worried about both.

Alright. I didn't realize how mediocre Dark Knights were in terms of damage o; I guess I'll stick with my Hero then. On that note, anyone know how good of a 1H Sword/Axe I can get with about 1.5bil ~ 2bil? Seems to be the last thing I need for now since my current Axe is kinda sucky.

Arans? Both damage and fun?

OT: You would need some crazy funding to do high damage as a Drk, even then heroes still out damage them. If you don't care about that then use a drk.

Yes with average crappy gear. Take my guy though, which in my opinion with be alittle above average. I have all 3 evo rings, silent crusade ring. I will have 3 totems. Full empress set with no Boss % 180 or so attack sword, aroudn 10 attack gloves for now, rising sun pendent and probably a total of 60 to 80 % str by 170 if not higher. I should be hitting around 200 to 300 k a line with IS if im correct. I could be totally wrong.I have about 25% str right now on my 115 warrior and I hit 30k a line with my warriors brandish. I happen to be slightly above average I think though. It all depends on GEAR

Also, Average is opinion based. We should start start using a Funding based system instead of Good, great, average, poor or amazing...lol I have only funded my guy right now with 600 million. thats all that i have spent out of all of my money

@PcPls123:
70k a line at 170 is definitely below average.
My Hero only has ~40% STR and an okay VIP 2H Axe and I'm hitting ~90k per line before Panic at 14x.

OT: Stick with the Hero.

Heros start to hit EXTREMELY hard during the 160 to 170 area when you have all of your damage skills maxed. When the patch comes out for warriors with in the next few months, Heros are going to be even better .
