is this good for endgame?
and how much should it improve my range when i currently have a 143 atk dbg?

yes that is boss damage.
and my goal is eventually max, but i will deal with like 200ks to start funding myself to get there.
"endgame" really depends on your funding, I would consider 175 to be pretty awesome
just use an energizer, and expect a little bit more?

Thats good but there are better > . < For a lot, lot more that is
the face that prots are gone higher end weapons that are 200+ atk are going to be very very expensive. so if you can get your hands on tht 170 atk one for like super cheap, then i'd go for it.
Really depends on your goal though...
