Another Ip Thread
So there's all this IP ban business going around, and I was wondering how it worked exactly. I've heard about anywhere from 10 to 30 logins per hour, or however many per 5 minutes.
Does it actually reset by the hour?
Don't wanna risk anything by logging in around and about several accounts.

No, the accounts should be fine if you change IPs after you get IP banned, though you might have to reactivate them.

I'd say around 5-10 minutes. Your ISP should give you a new IP. You'd have to check in CMD with ipconfig though.

As for how it works, if you accept the hot time on too many accounts in too short a time, you get ip banned. 2-3 per hour is usually safe. You can log into as many accounts as you want and NOT accept the hot time, and not be banned. You're allowed to have as many, and log into as many as you want. But you can not log into many and abuse events. This includes Treasure island, Hot times, things like that.[/quote]

let an experienced person whos been ip banned 3 times but never been ip banned again do all the talking
i'm not sure of the exact limit, but I would say its around 30 per hour
the SAFEST way is to log onto around 15-20 accounts, accept the hottimes, wait about 90 minutes before you log onto another 15-20
Okay, here's a legitimate answer.
No, there's not a limit to how many hot times you can receive per hour/not receive this hot time =/= as a login. That's BS.
What is true is that there's around 15-20 accounts you can log in per hour-3 hours. Meaning if you go over this, you'll get IP banned.
This exact number may be over 20, who knows besides Nexon.
Also, if you don't log into an account for the first week after you make it and redeem one item, I hear you get perma'ed. So you can't just leave the account sitting for a month without touching it after the hot time.
Another thing, though. does the IP login count reset by the hour or something?

yeah im still unable to log on for some reason o.o and i have to reactivate all of my hottime farming mules...

I'd have expected that nexon could detect a third party program like an ip blocker.
okay i switched it to ontario canada... do i lose my equips if i get ip banned or its just the location banned and not my account?
@stokenut You can't play GMS from China IP.
im using easy hide ip but i still cant get on o.o my ip was switched to one in china >;O
They don't support farming hot times.
