Nope. Three people per party is the BEST EXP with HS.

What people said.

1.5x = 3+ people
More people = less exp/ person

I can understand the mistake if you've never used it- the description is really misleading. But it is amazing how many people claim to 'have trained on 6X during the 2X event" They claim they bought a 2X card during the event and used HS and were getting 6X. It's like "Did you even bother looking at your xp?" And then they'll swear that they were getting 6X and I'm wrong.

Ahh well, at least I know what it is so I can plan accordingly as I level, leech, and HS mule my own characters.

Extremely.
Party of 1 = 1.1X
Party of 2 or more = 1.5X of your share of the split.

Remember- the party shares the XP of the monster. So yeah, you get 1.5X of a smaller share, so it's closer to 1.2X roughly.
Thank you.
Reading everyone's posts above me made me gag.
So you'll back my rough explanation? I'm not crazy- am I? You get maybe 10-20% more when you're partied with HS than you would if you solo killed the monster.

The point of HS is to basically make people not LOSE XP for being partied- and give you an extra little 10-20% bump. Otherwise party grinding would suck. HS is the glue that ties party grinding together- making everyone's individual kills worth 10-20% more than if they were solo- and letting you also get the benefit of being in a party so you get that little bit of leeching XP as someone else makes a kill as well.

Anyone that's claiming you can get 1.5X a monster's solo XP by having a certain number of people are either lying, or they have never used HS before.

What it's doing is simply multiplying your share of the split XP by 1.5. So, technically you're getting 1.5X, but you need to be partied, which takes away XP from you.

Roughly you get around 1.1 - 1.2X total with HS up, depending on the number of people in the party and the levels of everyone.

To find out exactly how much you'd get, you'll need to use the XP formula that takes into account splitting the monster's XP up amongst party members (which takes into account level and damage done, etc...).

Super simple Example: I kill a monster worth 100 XP.

Solo XP = 100.
Solo XP with HS (gives roughly 10% bonus since not in a party) = 110.
Party XP = roughly 80 for me, 20 for the other person in my party.
Party XP with HS = Roughly 80 * 1.5 = 120 for me (roughly a 20% boost), and about 20*1.5 for the other person (or a 1.5X boost).

Note is IS a 1.5 boost from the split XP (which is all you care about), but NOT the solo XP.

So, for a Skelie, which gives 4750 solo- don't ever ever ever expect to have HS give you 7125 (4750*1.5 = 7125). No matter how many people you have in the party, it won't give you 7125. You'll get much closer to 5700-ish when you add your XP and the yellow 'bonus party xp'.

Trust me, I've used my bishop to leech my own characters, other people, in groups from 1 (solo training) to 6. You'll never see that magical 7125 for a Skelie using 1X and Holy Shield.

Probably because you can't leech at newties. According to your avatar, you are 89. All party members in the party must be able to leech at the mob they are training at for HS to work efficiently.

Its like, 1member = x1.1, 2members = around 1.3(dont know exactly), 3 or more members = 1.5x

People who are under the leech lvl (monster lvl - 5), dont count as member.
So if the priest is below the leech lvl, and u are the only other in pt (or more people below leech lvl), it counts as 1.1x

you already get the 150% if theres 2 or more people that can gain exp
if you kill monsters with and without hs youll see the difference
If 3 or more people are IN YOUR PARTY you get 1.5 exp extra
And all 3 have to get exp. If 1 person is too low lvl, you won't get 1.5x.
