The lure of Op jobs

"I hate everything about my new job, except its OP".

Are you guilty?

I've always loved my Evan since it first came out, ESPECIALLY since it was OP.

I fell in love with my dual blade when my 50k range let me hit 60k's

I was weak - when I pushed hard and got strong it was SO satisfying seeing those 100k's, 200k's and then 300k's (I'm nooby). much more satisfying then seeing 100k's at lvl 90 on my aran.

I love my phantom - it's weak

Grats; and what is Kannas new skill? Is she gunna be OP with a nerf after? I just wish they released new jobs without always having to nerf them... send them out how they should be. <.<'

Guys, even Nexon is smart enough to realize that its not that those jobs are over powered, but simply that everyone else is underpowered, hence the constant buffs.

The versatility of the Phantom makes me feel like they aren't just built for power. Having a lower damage% doesn't necessarily mean its a bad job. Bishops aren't very strong, but I (personally) consider them a useful job to have around. All in the eye of the beholder, I guess. Now that I think about it, yeah I'll play a job I don't necessarily like just to get a good link skill. Guilty here.
Phantom IMO isn't OP. The nerfs they got were necessary. I feel like they are on an equal playing level with most other jobs.
Phantom is one of the weakest classes in terms of output damage (in the % damage tables). I highly doubt they got an equal playing level in comparison with every job.

No. I never make a new class upon its release, in fact I was never one for multi-classing at all. I have always stuck to my bowman. Over the past few weeks, however, I admit to making a few characters for link skills - the allure of links skills and character card buffs are just too great to ignore on my unfunded main. Every little bit helps. But I can't stand over-powered, or under-powered, classes. I desire balance above all else in my RPGs, both online and off. Despite this game having possible the worst track record in that category, I continue to play.

Eh, I've been playing Evans since they were ridiculously slow. I love them.
The nerf was extremely harsh and not necessary at all. Read what other Phantoms have to say about this. It's very frustrating and annoying to play this class at times, but I'm used to it.
I won't get into the subject too much, but I personally feel they are on an equal playing field as other jobs now. When I think OP, I think AB, Kais, Lumi.

Nope. I make the new classes to try them out and then go on hiatus again before I even get to level 50, usually :x
