I failed very hard ! Lost the SP Reset event.
Hello guys , i've been away from maple for like 2 months waiting for Big Bang , bored with ultimates training.
Alright , then Big Bang came out and i was so happy , downloaded it again on the first day ...and it didnt worked ...
Kept showing the error " Installion Failed , please try again "Error code = - 40" , but that was solved by re-Downloading the client with the FlashGet
still this took me one week to figure , i've tried download with the Old flash Get (1.9) and then yesterday i downloaded right and all , and the Client Istalled very well.It was very good , until the game couldnt launch ...
What was happening was :
1-Click Start Game
2-HS loads up
3-Goes black screen but the game just closes.
After scanning my PC with many anti-viruses , anti malwares and all that "shizz" , i reinstalled my maple today and it worked ...but guess WHAT?
i Lost the SP reset scroll ! Because i wasnt able to play/log in on the event days...So sad , im lacking several important skills (im a F/P archmage): E-Comp ,BUff Duration...etc and more ...
Seriously , couldnt they just give EVERYONE a SP reset scroll ? Im sure im not the only one who couldnt log in on the supposed time.
Im not going to start over , or start a new character , because it took me like one year(althought i have quitted a few times) to get where this char is now :'(.
My only hopes are that nexon give us another SP reset ...reset or skills or w/e ...or then my only option will be to quit , because im not going to buy $300+ Worth of resets (Basically that would be the minimum). I was so excited when i heard of big bang coming soon , but who would know that this would be my disgrace ?

@ashje , you dont even bother reading ...seriously.I said that i tried with the Old flashget (as suggested in a topic that was called "Error code = - 40 fix".
No reinstalling wouldnt work , seriously Learntoreadbetter.

I logged on my cleric yesterday and I got a SP reset. I'm almost sure they gave SP resets to everyone aside from the event.
They'll give another full SP reset eventually.
How hard is it to reinstall Maple? It shouldn't have taken you a week to realise you had to do it. If something goes wrong with Maple and you can't find any other way to fix it, generally a reinstall will get it working again. Nexon gave us a week and put plenty of warnings all over the front page and in the game. It was quite generous of them, it's not their fault it took you a week to reinstall Maple.

actually he has the same problem maplers including myself have
this issue can not be resolved normally by nexon advise
my computer has the same problem but nexon has failed to do anything for 4 months
if not for my laptop i would have raged
id have to bet its your graphics card
get a new one because updating it wouldnt help
my computer has an ATI Radeon 9200 model

I feel for you, man. Sorry you had to deal with everyone ragging on you for this. It's kinda why you don't post these kinda threads on basil.
the only thing you shud be worrying about is spell mastery not being maxed from 2nd job. everything else is not TOO important.
and yea, it was your own fault. if you had reinstalled on the first day, you wouldn't be here complaining ;]

they did give everyone an SP reset...
And a 2nd one if you logged in on Hot Time.

Yes i had some skills , already allocated them in some of the most important ones.
WHAT PEOPLE DONT UNDERSTAND is ... : Im not talking about the deleted ones , but the ones that are near useless now , like Seal , Fire Arrow , etc ...some of those !
Thats why i really needed this Reset, but oh well its not happening , as nexon is greedy they will prefer that we buy the resets or Quit ,unless there are really coming another "Hot Summer" event like i heard...but i doubt so much

ONe year ago i didnt knew that Big Bang was even coming LOL ...explain me this ? And my build was the most efficient until big bang.
Im not talkig about the deleted moves , but the moves that before Big bang was usefull and now are less usefull.Examples are :
Seal (Now that PAralyze "freezes" ,Fire Arrow , and Meteor ( Atleast i dont need it maxed out now).
Explained ? Some skills arent that usefull anymore since Big Bang ...thats why people were "crying" , well its not really crying , its just rude people that call these acts/topics "Crying" , its ranting , boy.
wanna list your skills? maybe it's not a total loss. as long as you got paralyze maxed you're good.
