To all the people saying Nexon America sucks
Let me give you what CMS is like (China Maplestory), since I'm on vacation and I'm trying it out.
1. You need your Identity Card number to sign up. I used my cousin's since I don't have one.
2. NLC does not exist. Don't hate on me, but most of our 50-110 takes place there if you want to train at top speed. Sure, there're other places. But who would actually go to Trojans when Scarecrows are so much better? Who would NOT go to Jesters (even TOY ROOM) when they KNOW that Magatia monsters can't even compare to the 1325 exp? WHO would actually stay at MP3 when Aliens give double exp, at the same HP value? Even Alien Base Corridor [b]4[/b] beats soloing MP3. So don't even complain about not finding a map.
3. LHC and SH have their party play removed. Don't hate, but you KNOW that once giving us LHC, you can't take it back because people complain. Why would people complain? [b]Because the pre-BB training method at ToT and Skeles is absolute hell.[/b] Still hating? How many people here can tell me that they have NEVER touched any party play areas? You [b]know[/b] LHC is better than ToT, so it's time to let the old-time training method go.
4. Playing for 3 hours total per day reduces your exp gain to 50%. If you're on 2x, you become 1x. Resets next morning. This is so much worse than KMS's midnight ban. Basically, with KMS, you can play for 18 hours every day if you're a no-life. With CMS, sure, you get the 24 hours, but 21 hours of it is 0.5x, meaning you only play for 14.5 hours. Still don't understand? There are many people that play for hours on end and most of us play for the FULL 4 hours of 2x in GMS.
5. Their only exclusive class is terrible. You think Nexon made Jett unoriginal? Dragon Warrior's skills are the EXACT SAME as a pre-revamped Corsair, except for their ultimate, which does the same job anyways. I honestly think Jett is so much better and this is actually the first time I got bored of a class.
6. Basically, you can just dc any characters you want with the Lie Detectors bought from ANY potion shop for 10k mesos.
7. No 2x cards on sale. And don't say "that's because CMS isn't greedy unlike GMS". Give us an OPTION to buy 2x. People can choose no. Honestly, you think Nexon China think they're making the game BETTER with that 3-hour limit and no 2x?

8. Horrible server names. "Blue Snail", "Gray Wolf", "White Rabbit", you know what I mean.
9. No familiar. Hello there MP pots.
10. So many college kids are so addicted to this game in China. Seriously, you must have nothing better to do if you just defame everyone for fun.
Update: I'm going to bed. It's 11:00 pm in China time. (Only reason I made this thread is because I played for 3 hours.) Point of thread: I have so much fun in GMS than in CMS.

My family and I moved from the U.S. to China, so now I play CMS. I agree with [b][/b]JeffieAran. IT SUCKS. Without NLC, the best training spot for lvls 60-70 is Chryse. You do not know how boring it is to train there.

I've met some players in MSEA who use lie detector to dc legit players or send them back to town, and raid their maps!

Ok lets just say Nexon screwed every version of Maple
GMS: The latest bug about legit people getting banned and this is what the maple team said "Recently, a number of players were banned from MapleStory for using illegitimate programs that affect gameplay. We would like to remind everyone that the use of any type of game-altering program is against the Terms of Use, and could lead to a permanent ban on your account.
If you were banned and you don't know why, please make sure that you don't have any programs that could affect gameplay installed on your computer".
And also there's so many glitches on GMS right now and they don't fix it and this is what GMS fixes "The 1 NX Puffram Package in the Cash Shop is incorrectly named "Permanent Puffram Package". Sorry for the confusion! If you hover your mouse over the item, you can see that the correct duration is 7 days."
Oh suck it up. Have you try Vietnam MS ? The company who runs it actually SELL hack programs for the game. Also, 4th job before Leafre was release, advance through Cody, GREEDIER THAN AMERICAN NEXON WHEN IT'S ABOUT MONEY.
The community sucks worse than GMS. Henehoe doesn't exist. G.I.R.L are everywhere and if I'm correct, they even have betting in the game. For God sake, betting about the daily real-life lottery IN THE FREAKING GAME.

Didn't read what you had to say. Nexon does suck. I have quit for months now and started playing a different game, League of legends. Riot is a much better company then nexon is and they have just as much players as nexon does. Nexon doesnt know how to run a game correctly. Nuff said.

That doesn't really mean anything. The ones good at math (I consider myself a B according to China standards) just know how to manage their time. Why do you think so much college kids play? The 12-17 years olds are preparing for their SAT-equalevent (spelled this word wrong). Trust me, it's hard.

For number one... it's just like an indirect IP ban, nothing to hate on that.
As for exclusive character, both Jett and Dragon Warrior are not original, JP one is too flashy.. Let's say it's the same.
Number four is something.. Play-control, not that I didn't expect this.
Only number 6 is the worst part.

People don't hate the game that much, people hate their service which used to be crap.
If you try to disprove Nexon America is good, don't just see it from a single game that they host... also count the customer service and their history/reps/stuffs.
Ok, you're right. But there are still many things NexAm does that greatly anger the community. It's just a case of picking your poison.
HAHAHAHAHA, CMS is by far the easiest leveling Ms out there.... In 9 days I got from 1-200, To make up for the bad training, Every week players receive 2x-3x cards

OK? Only on training? Everything else that's good about CMS is included in GMS. Do I see better BGM? Do I see better customer service? Do I see a better community? My friend in Shanghai tells me that every time he sends a ticket, they tell them to call the company. He leaves a message. Never returns the call.
The only other thing I would think of is the different wedding style. But that doesn't even matter. End thing is: you get married.
Lmao you explained kms also. But if your gonna rant about training include other versions of ms like kms, and jms which do amazingly well and we still can make.160 just as easy your just lazy. Kms has the party play removed you know what we do? Pqs, grind, and aswan and we still make it to 200 faster than you.
Just beacuse CMS is worse than GMS, doesn't mean Nexon doesn't suck.

You want me to tell you something? NOBODY goes to Monster Park. Even in CMS where they don't have party play
cms has 2x cards you can buy... and they got 4th job ahead of us
