Maplestory is disabling my screen

When I tried playing maplestory this morning, the game was already on because I left my store up, so I went to go restock, and whenever I attempted to do anything the screen would cut to black as if I had turned the monitor off. Then I tried to restart my computer, and now when the game starts up the exact same thing happens, where my screen cuts to black, except not the usual "cut to black and wait until the game loads", it was as if I turned my monitor off, and I had to restart my computer to fix it. Is there any solution to this problem ?

I just tried playing tribes ascend, and I got about half way through the match, and it happened again. When I unplug and replug in my monitor it fixes it for a little bit, but what should I do?

Is it possible that you burned out your screen throughout the night?

I usually play full screen, although I was in windowed mode in the morning, and the problem was still occuring.

Play in windowed mode. Wait a few minutes after you start MS, (depending on how long it takes to open MS) then push Alt + Enter.

If that doesn't work. I don't know what will.
