Nope I think you're thinking of the y480. I'm pretty sure that had the 650 and no mine doesn't overheat no matter how long I play. Even in the summer I didn't have any problems when it came to overheating.

I thought the y580 was geforce 650. Doesn't it overheat too?

No, mines over a year old. If you have the money,a mechanical keyboard is a good investment
Edit: the touchpad thing is definitely not worth it

That's certainly not bad for 500 bucks for sure, good deal. Custom built myself, ordered all the parts and me and a friend put it together.

@peterisnoob Not showing off, I like to hear what hardware everyone's rocking. You've got some great stuff, is yours the new Deathstalker with the Switchblade UI? If it is, is it worth the 250 bucks for the keyboard, I've been contemplating buying one but many say the UI isnt worth it.
