Help with Physics sound waves please
So... the question is this:
The sound wave from a person's voice has a distance from compression to rarefaction of 9.0 cm. If the frequency of the sound is 2000.0 Hz, what is the temperature of the air on this day in the tropics?
I'm guessing that the temperature is going to be high since the question stated that this is in tropics... but I got something like -256'C x_x can somebody explain to me how I'm supposed to solve this?

Don't you get a simple formula which lets you just plug in numbers to get an answer?
