It Wont Work as a 6 Piece Effect if you use a katara, So say you have The: 1. Overall 2. Gloves 3. Shoes. 4. Cape. 5. Hat AND You decide to use the katara as a weapon, it wont count as a 6 set effect, only 5.
it doesn't count towards the emp set effect, but yea its a weapon. Your question had weird wording.
